    New to Kundalini yoga or just a little rusty? This four-week course will take you through the basic principles of Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan.

    You’ll get bite-sized bits of Kundalini Yoga, encouragement and ideas to establish your own daily personal practice.

    Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan is dynamic and powerful. It is known as the “householders’ yoga” because it is effective even for those of us who do not have vast amounts of time to devote to practice.

    Kundalini Yoga works on the glandular and nervous systems, incorporating pranayama (breath), kriya (asana) and meditation to help each person reach his or her potential.

    The four weeks will begin with an overview of Kundalini Yoga, to give us a common baseline to work toward deeper understanding. The second week addresses the five sutras for the Aquarian Age, and how those can help us cope with what we experience in the world. The third week will take a look at the eight chakras, those subtle energy centers located along the spine. The fourth and final week will explore the concept of the 10 bodies each of us possesses, and how they work together.
