Jyl Kutsche

Jyl has been working with chocolate for over 12 years and is passionate about sharing this incredible medicine with others. She has led Cacao Ceremonies around the world, alchemizing the powerful properties of Cacao with those of intention, movement, community and prayer. 
Jyl is a Senior Instructor of Prajna Yoga and her primary influence continues to come from the founders of the school, Tias & Surya Little. She has both her 200 Hr. & 500 Hr. certifications through Prajna Yoga and assists Tias & Surya regularly around the country. Currently dividing her time between the United States and Peru, Jyl leads workshops and ceremonies around the world. She brings an interdisciplinary approach to her teaching, combining form and flow with therapeutic somatic movement.
A firm believer in yoga being for everyone and anyone, Jyl co-founded the Austin-based non profit organization, Community Yoga Austin, in 2010 and is passionate about modifying the practice of yoga so that anyone interested may have the opportunity to experience it's healing. She has brought yoga to prisons, schools, veterans, recovery centers, shelters & senior centers. She has trained with Street Yoga, Little Flower Yoga, Bent on Learning, MD Anderson Integrative Medicine, and The Prison Yoga Project. 
Jyl is also a Licensed Massage Therapist. She is currently studying Zen Shiatsu with Yoshi Nagano and Visionary Craniosacral Therapy with Hugh Milne & the Pledger Institute.
