About Kathleen

Kathleen DiNatale has taught yoga and meditation since 1998. She was the founder of Galveston's popular The Yoga Haven studio. Kathleen is a long-time student of Tias & Surya Little of Prajna Yoga. She teaches in-person group classes as well as private sessions for individuals who want specialized guidance for their unique needs with adaptive techniques. Kathleen is registered with Yoga Alliance and the International Association of Yoga Therapists.

AWAKE & AWARE

Tuesday 8am-9am at MarMo

Thursday 8am-9am at MarMo

Start your day with movement and meditation to enhance clarity and well-being. This all-levels morning practice includes breath work, somatic floor work and hatha yoga postures sequenced to energize the body and awaken the mind. Bring a yoga mat.

VITAL YOGA

Monday & Wednesday 11am-12pm
check schedule: via Zoom or at MarMo Plaza

Utilizing Satya, somatic floor sequences to mobilize tissues and yoga asana to strengthen and stabilize.  Meditation and breath work to enhance and direct vital life force energy. We use props to facilitate range of movement & alignment. Bring a yoga mat to in-person class.

YIN YOGA 

Alternating Tuesdays 6pm

Yin yoga is a compliment to dynamic yoga practices, an antidote to a fast-paced lifestyle. Primarily floor work, beginning with somatic Satya sequences to mobilize tissues in preparation for the long-held postures of Yin Yoga. Focused and reflective, this practice encourages a healthy supple body and calm, clear mind. Meditation and chanting are practiced in this class. Bring a yoga mat and props if you have them.

RESTORATIVE YOGA

Alternating Tuesdays 6pm

Restore, revitalize and refresh in this practice utilizing props to support postural integrity and enhance subtle energy. Props provide feedback and deepen the capacity to stabilize body and mind in long-held postures. This practice is therapeutic and rejuvenating, suitable for all levels and prenatal friendly. Bring your yoga mat and your own bolster if you have one. There are props available for use. * pre-registration required

SUNRISE YOGA ON THE BEACH

Saturday 7am at 27th & Seawall Beach

Start your weekend with yoga on the beach! Enjoy the beauty of practicing yoga near the water, under blue sky. Bring a yoga mat or beach towel, water, sunscreen and a smile! 

Sunrise Yoga is $15 or use your existing KDY class pass. Pre-register & pay

*class is weather permitting and may be cancelled due to inclement weather.
